The Cook’s Nook at Travis County Commissioners’ Court

This November, the Travis County Commissioners' Court approved $3.1 million in funding to expand access to fresh food for low-income and other marginalized county residents, in addition to an earlier approval in March this year for $1.8 million for prepared meal services, like The Cook's Nook, that provide county residents in need with nutritionally-dense meals. Our CEO, Amy Bell, spoke to the Commissioner's Court to help elaborate the community benefits that 2022's nearly $5 million dollar investment will have.
