Get ready to revitalize your entrepreneurial spirit in May! Texas Venture Labs Investment Competition (TVLIC) aims to help raise venture capital in a real-world setting, helping University of Texas graduate students gain unique, valuable knowledge and feedback from local entrepreneurs and investors for a chance to win $25,000 in cash and prizes. In the past TVLIC has aided successful launches of investors from BeatBox Beverages to uShip. Each team is required to submit an executive summary, financial forecast, funding requirements and cap table with the option of also submitting a business plan. The finals will take place from 4PM to 7PM on Friday, May 5th at the ATT Conference Center at the University of Texas Austin campus and will be open to the general public with Joi Chevalier from The Cook’s Nook serving as one of the judges during the finals. The event will be followed by an award’s ceremony and networking reception.
