To make food at a CFP on a limited basis for public consumption, the City of Austin / Travis County requires a Temporary Food Event Application (Permit to Operate)
Visiting food companies will have a security deposit on file and a certificate of insurance showing a minimum of $1,000,000 commercial general liability insurance with CHISOS STAR LLC listed as additional insured. The visiting company must maintain such policy for the entirety of the limited event.
